Three things, then the specifics.
Take 1 to 2cm off every stem at an angle before they go in water. A flat cut sits on the bottom of the vase and drinks nothing.
Every day if you can, every second day at worst. Cloudy water is the fastest way to lose a bouquet.
Away from windows, direct sun and — this is the Kuwait one — away from the AC vent.

Remove any leaves sitting below the waterline. If heads droop early, recut and give them deep water for an hour.
Arrive tight and open over two or three days. Warmth speeds them up, so keep them cool if you want them to last.
Delicate stems, so handle low. They drink a lot in the first day — top the vase up.
One of the longest lasting. Pinch off spent blooms and the buds behind them will keep opening.
Very forgiving. They will also dry beautifully if you leave them in an empty vase.
No water at all. Keep out of direct sun so the colour holds, and dust gently.
In summer, everything lives half as long.
Kuwait heat is hard on cut flowers. From June to September, change the water daily rather than every other day, keep the vase well away from any AC vent — the dry draught is worse than the heat itself — and move arrangements out of rooms that sit empty and hot during the day. If a bouquet looks tired, recut the stems and give it an hour in deep cold water before you give up on it.
